Abstract

Ear Nose Throat (ENT) surgery has been the highest risk of postoperative nausea and vomiting. Despite the advancement of the modern anesthetic techniques in the management and understanding of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), the events of nausea and vomiting in ENT surgery still remains a major problem for participants in the postoperative care unit. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the incidence and identify the risk factors of PONV among surgical ENT participants in Orotta Medical Surgical National Referral Hospital.
