Abstract

Patients admitted with severe preeclampsia before 34 weeks (early sPREX) have multiple known risk factors for postpartum depression (PPD) including preterm delivery, low birthweight infants, and a stressful life event. Minimal data exist characterizing the development of PPD in patients with early sPREX. We aim to evaluate the incidence and identify risk factors of PPD in this population.
