Abstract
With the development of new energy industry, Electric Vehicles(EVs) have become more and more popular. However, more and more EVs is putting extreme pressure on the power grid, such as disordered charging behavior will bring peak load, long queues and even traffic jams. On the other hand, the privacy information, especially the location privacy of the EVs, will seriously threatened the EV owners’ safety. Unfortunately, there are few charing platforms that consider the location privacy protection issue. To this end, this paper focus on the scheduling issue and privacy issue in EVs charging scenarios, and designed an incentive-based location privacy preserving EV charging mechanism. First, we modeled the charging behavior of EVs and tried it as a transaction process, and we propose a VCG-based pricing rule to determine the winners. Then, considering the location leakage, we proposed a differential privacy-based geo-indistinguishable method to hide the EVs’ location coordinates. After that, we prove that our mechanism satisfy incentive compatibility, individual rationality and differential privacy. Finally, according to the experiments, we have verified that the mechanism achieves good welfare maximizing, EVs satisfaction ratio as well as the privacy preserving performance.
