Abstract

Designed as a long‐term project, the first report on the outcomes‐monitoring research done by the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) has been released. In answer to the question, “Does treatment work?,” the report found that there was a decrease in severity of symptoms of substance use disorder (SUD), depression, and anxiety over the course of treatment and throughout the first year of follow‐up.
