Abstract

Introduction/Background: Iatrogenic airway foreign bodies are rare in the NICU setting, but when present, often cause emergent respiratory decompensation and are immediately identified on imaging. We report a case of a relatively clinically silent fractured piece of an endotracheal tube suction catheter lodged in the left main bronchus that went unnoticed on several CXRs.
