Abstract

Routine serological surveillance of a flock identified 17 out of 300 sheep which developed antibodies to leptospires during a period of one year. The predominant serological reaction was with Australis serogroup antigens and leptospires belonging to the Australis serogroup were isolated from the urine of two animals.
