Abstract

Suicide attempts using hypoglycemic agents are uncommon but are associated with a high level of morbidity and mortality. A fifty-eightyear- old-gentleman with no history of diabetes was presented in a state of shock to the emergency room with the ingestion of 12 tablets of 2mg glimepiride.
