Abstract

Objective To explore in vivo and in vitro detection of allergens in the diagnosis of allergic rhinitis. Methods The patients whose skin prick test(SPT)to Dermatophagoides tarinae was positive were simultaneously received detection of serum specific IgE(SIgE). Results The positive rate of SIgE D2 detection was 93. 36% in 211 patients with allergic rhinitis, 97.74% of which were strong positive. Conclusions In vivo detection of allergens is associated with in vitro detection. Skin prick test can be primarily used for screening and then sIgE detection is used to assess the degree of allergy, which can identify allergic rhinitis accurately and inexpensively. Key words: Allergic rhinitis; Allergic rhinitis; Skin prick; Serum SIgE
