Abstract

SummaryHydrocortisone and corticosterone in a concentration of 100 μg/ml markedly inhibit growth of isoniazid sensitive and resistant strains of tubercle bacilli grown in a simple synthetic culture medium. Ten and 20 μg/ml produce slight slowing of growth in some strains.
