Abstract

For successful in vitro growth of any host-dependent organism the most important thing is the ability of in vivo grown cells to synthesize in vitrotype cell membranes. In case of M. lepraemurium factors responsible for such conversion are α-ketogluterate, hemin reduced oxygen tension, and lecithin-cholesterol liposomes.
