Abstract
We have previously reported that incubation of testicular slices with inhibin in the presence of 6 × 10−8 M oF SH resulted in a dose‐related reduction in accumulation of cyclic AMP due to a decrease in adenyl cyclase activity. The present study demonstrates that inhibin enhances the cyclic AMP‐phosphodiesterase activity in rat testicular tissue. These results suggest an additional mechanism by which cyclic AMP levels in gonadal tissue could be regulated by inhibin.
