Abstract
• An il2rb-like ( il2rbl ) gene is firstly identified from grass carp . • il2rb , il2rg1 & 2 ′s transcripts are co-expressed with high levels in grass carp thymus. • The mRNA of il2rbl & il2rg2 is co-expressed with high abundance in grass carp liver. • LPS and bacteria stimulate il2rbl & il2rg2 but not il2rb & il2rg1 mRNA expression in PBLs. • Il-2 upregulates Stat5 phosphorylation via only Il-2rb and Il-2rg1 receptor complex.
