Namibia is a country with great diversity in both flora and fauna, and it is a land of friendly and welcoming people; a place where one can go to get away from the busyness of urban living and get back to nature. It is for these reasons that many people around the globe flock to Namibia every year, with some making it their permanent home and it is here that researchers continue to find new and exciting plant species, such as Aloe, Euphorbia and Commiphora. With an area of 318,695 sq miles (825,418 sq km) and a population of 2.3 million—compare that to Los Angeles, CA, USA with a population of 3.8 million and 503 sq miles (1,302 sq km)— it is no wonder that many wonderful plant species await discovery, especially ones of a small stature like Ledebouria.
