Abstract

As the Clinton era draws to a close, it is far past time we realize what public libraries offer. We must reprioritize our short and long term goals to help public libraries flourish. We must dig ourselves out of the trenches. We must charge. The American public library is now more vital than ever. In order for our country not only to keep pace and survive, but to flower and thrive, we must unflinchingly support its endeavors.
