Abstract
Increased estradiol (E2) may augment thyroxine-binding globulin (TBG) synthesis and thus raise T4 dose requirement in hypothyroid women undergoing ovarian stimulation. We hypothesized that this would be reflected in increased serum TSH and decreased free T4 (fT4) after stimulation and in early pregnancy. Prior studies have been conflicting.
