Abstract
The PANI/ZnO/CoFe2O4(CFO) composite were fabricated via an in situ polymerization method. The phase structures, morphologies, magnetic performances, and microwave absorption performances of the as-prepared composite were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope, vibrating sample magnetometer, and vector network analyzer, respectively. Compared with the pure PANI and PANI/ZnO composite, the as-prepared PANI/ZnO/CFO composite exhibits enhanced microwave absorption performances. The maximum reflection loss is −41.9 dB at 10.3 GHz with a match thickness of 3.0 mm. Moreover, the microwave absorption bandwidth of PANI/ZnO/CFO composite below −10 dB is from 8.7 to 12.6 GHz. For the maximum reflection loss and the microwave absorption bandwidth, the PANI/ZnO/CFO composite is better than the PANI powder, PANI/ZnO composite and the reported PANI-based composites, which could be attributed to better impedance match.
