Abstract

A Defining component that has made the IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics (JESTPE) a predominant publication in the field of power electronics is our past and current associate editors. Although our associate editors are largely unknown and unheard until a paper they recommend for publication appears in print, their work is of extreme importance in producing the IEEE JESTPE for readers. The tasks of an associate editor include reading the submissions, finding competent reviewers, reading the comments from the reviewers, and making recommendations to the assigned editors, all of which are accomplished in a timely manner. In some cases, associate editors expend lots of time contacting busy reviewers to submit their comments, making recommendations, and addressing rejected paper complaints from the authors.
