Abstract

Paul Geroudet died of cancer in Geneva, Switzerland, on 23 November 2006. Geroudet's work was extraordinarily influential in French speaking Europe in the 20th century, and he was largely responsible for the reintroduction of the Lammergeier in the Alps.
