Abstract

AbstractIn this chapter you will learn how to draw the response of linear systems to Dirac delta (unit impulse) function and Heaviside (unit) step functions. Dirac delta function (δ(t)) is a function whose value is zero everywhere except at zero, and whose integral over the entire real line is equal to one. The step function (H(t)) is zero for negative arguments and one for positive arguments.
