Abstract
A solid-lubricating MoS2-based coating formed on the surface of a part under conditions of vibrational treatment of freely moving indenters is studied. Peculiarities of the processes that occur at the metal-coating interface are shown, as well as their effect on the quality of the coating and on an increase in the wear resistance of the surface is considered.
