Abstract

Polar codes, recently have been introduced by Arikan, are one of the first codes that achieved the capacity for vast numerous channels. Polar codes are constructed based on a phenomenon that called channel polarization. This paper discusses the polarization of Multiple-Access Channel in two scenarios. In this study, the polar coding scheme and channel polarization phenomenon for multiple access channels from a new perspective have been analyzed. We analyze the performance of Bhattacharyya parameter of polar codes for polarized the multiple access channels. The direct relation for Bhattacharyya parameter after polarization which guarantees the channel polarization for the multiple access channels have been presented. Finally a numerical example for these constructions in order to validate our ideas has been presented.
