Abstract

After general remarks on the quality of analyses, the principal sources of error are pointed out (method of determination, pretreatment of the sample, human factor). Then, the possibilities for the quality control of analyses are discussed (control within the laboratory, interlaboratory control, use of reference methods and reference materials).
