Abstract

The physical and mechanical properties, moisture capacity, adhesion to the substrate of films of various compositions of paints and varnishes have been studied. It has been established that enamels applied over a layer of phosphating primers on the surface of metals exhibit the best protective properties. Coating systems with phosphating primers have high continuity, better physical and mechanical properties, and adhesion to the surface of the metal being protected from corrosion.
