Abstract

The article discusses the possibilities of developing financial advisory institutions in the Russian Federation as a basis for improving the level of financial literacy of the population. Special attention is paid to the study of foreign experience in financial consulting and current trends in this area. In the course of the research, an analysis of the existing state programs in this area in Russia, as well as the main tools and products of financial consulting, was carried out. According to the results, three main directions for the development of financial consulting in Russia are proposed, with the help of which it is planned to increase the level of financial literacy of its citizens.
