Abstract
Amplification of processes of heat and mass exchange in gas – liquid systems from the standpoint of the development of the designs of contact devices, using as an example the improvement of the design of structured grid packing (wooden slats packing), is considered. A list of structural methods of increasing the intensity of processes of heat and mass exchange in packing bed columns is presented. Empirical dependences between the geometric parameters of structured packing using corrugated sheets are presented. The characteristics of structured corrugated packing with gaps and a technique of calculating the thickness of a film of liquid are presented.
