Abstract

Children in specialized foster care need broadly based, empathetic, and competent help. Yet, service delivery agents assigned to these children are often inexperienced, easily frustrated, and transient. A comprehensive attempt to deal with the workers' problems could yield better care for those whose needs these workers try to meet.
