Abstract

-activated phosphors (, 0.03, 0.05, 0.07, 0.10, 0.20, and 0.30) were prepared by a conventional solid-state reaction method. Their vacuum ultraviolet (VUV)–visible spectroscopic properties were investigated. The optimal phosphor (CLPF-Tm) was blended with the commercially available blue phosphor (BAM) in different weight proportions, and their luminescence properties were compared. Under 172 nm excitation, the mixed phosphor (75% CLPF-Tm) showed efficient luminescence and suitable antidegradation behavior at initial 12 h.
