Abstract
Background: Patients with suspected neutropenic sepsis should have appropriate sepsis screen tests upon admission. Our acute oncology ward admits patients from different departments and these patients should have the full sepsis screen performed as part of their investigation of sepsis. Unfortunately, these patients do not have a completed sepsis screen upon arrival to the ward. In most cases, these sepsis screen tests have been requested on TrackCare but are not physically done or collected on the system.
