Abstract

Low coherence due to signal imbalance between the paired images introduces false alarm for the conventional coherent change detection (CCD) products when the actual change is not present. This letter presents a technique to evaluate and compensate for such degrading CCD effects by enhancing clutter coherence where required. Accordingly, a new correlation formula is also presented for general SAR covariance/coherency data computations.
