Abstract

AbstractThe rise in the use of mobile phones and the ubiquitous availability of wireless networks, easier access to the Internet, and user interest in instantaneous services have led to an increased demand for Internet applications. The purpose of the research is to develop the managerial issues of the projects for the creation and development of Internet applications. The object of the research is a project for the development of a new Internet application. The performed analysis of the mobile applications market indicates an increased competition among the manufacturers of Internet applications, which necessitates improving the quality of project management in the sphere. The authors proposed a conceptual model of project management where the subsystems of project, product, and operational management are identified, and this can be viewed as a special feature of the model. The management within the project faces the uncertainty of both characteristics of the newly created application and some input parameters of the project. Besides, the management of the project has to pay some special attention to the motivation system that is stipulated by special conditions for generating cash-flows, by the project activities of the competitors, and the need for employees of generation Z. Analysis and systematization of all the circumstances of the creation of Internet applications, as well as the features of their management, made it possible to propose an empirically obtained dependence of the effectiveness of the project on the organizational and economic relations within the project.
