Abstract

A new zero-correction method for improving the output SNIR of a directional constrained adaptive array in the presence of pointing errors is presented. The method involves the relocation of the zeros of the array polynomial after adaptation using a constrained optimisation procedure. Examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the technique.
