Improving Performance: A Multidisciplinary Approach to NICU Breast Milk Utilization Background: Breast milk utilization at our hospital is below the recognized standard based on CPQCC and VON, which can potentially lead to poor patient outcomes. Smart Aim: To increase the percentage of breast milk usage at discharge by 10% from baseline of 52.84% to 62.84% by December 2017 for infants <1500g and/or 22-31 and 6/7 weeks.
