Abstract

Abstract The majority of Diesel plants are operating far below par, and if real economical operation is to be obtained, better supervision is necessary. The larger plants can afford to retain engineers capable of producing results. Small plants could engage supervising engineering companies on a percentage of the net savings. If boiler fuel oil could be proved to operate more economically, it should be used.
