Improving network stations for oblique incidence sounding of ionospheric radio wave propagation

Abstract

To a classical ionospheric network station electronic devices were added fulfilling the following functions, automatically or on keyboard order: high precision timing; analogue-digital conversion (multilevel setting); noise suppression; storing of up to four processed ionograms in digital form; correlation analysis.
