Abstract

This paper is concerned with space vector control strategies to determine adequate switching states that lead to a reduction of the error vector of both the input power converter and output inverter of a parallel resonant DC link dual power converter. The control of the input power converter is based on the input current error vector. Three different switching strategies are studied. The error vector of the output inverter is defined in two ways. The first method is based on the total stationary flux error vector and the other on the filtered output voltage error proposed in this paper. The goal of the proposed method is to reduce the low-order harmonic content of the output current. The basis of the comparison of the three switching strategies is the harmonic content obtained by computer simulation. >
