Abstract

Patients on haemodialysis have an increased risk of developing diabetic foot problems, as well as difficulties in accessing specialist care. This service evaluation assessed whether educating haemodialysis nurses in foot care resulted in more frequent examination. It also considered whether improvements in patients' self-care behaviour associated with their feet were reported.
