Abstract

The article analyzes the term “artificial intelligence”, its main principles and characteristics while teaching foreign languages. The artificial intelligence is crucially essential for individualized learning foreign languages and its role in increasing students’ motivation, the efficiency of the learning process and importance of an engaging and cognitive environment for education are emphasized. The main advances of today’s virtual environment, online language learning platforms are described. The main tendencies of developing artificial intelligence and its obstacles are indicated.
