Abstract

In recent years, non-woven bag filters have been used in waste incinerators to efficiently collect dust and remove detrimental gas. However, the dust removal efficiency decreases with time until the bag filters are no longer useable. The dust adhering to the fabric is a major determinant of bag filter life. In our research, we developed accelerative dust deposit equipment in order to improve the bag cleaning efficiency and extend the lifetime of bag filters. The pressure and vibration equipment enable the fabric to collect the dust quickly and simply. We suggest using multiple jet pulses that change pulse parameter only for the dust bag cleaning systems of currently used dust-collection equipment. Under the same conditions, the bag cleaning efficiency of multiple jet pulse systems exceeds that of conventional single-pulse methods. Furthermore, the superiority and effectiveness of multiple pulse jet methods were clarified.
