Abstract

This paper proposes an improved method for enhancing the efficiency of the original Apriori algorithm. With the integration of partition technique and hash table skills, the database is divided and well organized to guarantee a fast scanning and effective Frequent Item sets generating throughout the mining process. An example on Easy Installer system is presented to illustrate the application of the improved Apriori algorithm.
