Abstract
An analytical solution is reported for a linear system that is encountered when the analytical discrete-ordinates (ADO) method is applied to the Prinja-Pomraning model of neutral particle transport in ducts. As a consequence of such development, the existence and uniqueness of the ADO solution for the considered problem are established.
