Abstract

This article deals with issues related to the tactical and strategic aspects of the transformational processes of commercial banks. Tactical aspects are connected with the essence and features of the directions of the main trends in banking, strategic - with the improvement of the conceptual foundations of transformation processes. It is substantiated that from a strategic point of view, the processes of digitalization of the activities of commercial banks do not contribute to the solution of existing systemic problems. In addition, the article reflects the author's definition of the essence and specific features of the main goal of the transformation of banking.
