Abstract

The paper deals with the tribological characteristics of composite coatings obtained by the electrocontact welding of polymer powder strips with antifriction additives used to recondition worn machine parts or to deposit coatings. The dependences of the wear, time to seizure, and friction coefficient on the type and concentration of the antifriction additives and polymer binder in the polymer powder strip are presented.
