Abstract

Among the failure of sucker-rod pumping units (SRPU) of Bashneft- Production Ltd, more than 20 % are caused by leakage of valve pairs of sucker rod pumps (SRP), due to the influence of various complicating factors and their combinations. In order to increase the SRPU operation stability, it is proposed to intro- duce floating magnetic saddle valves, the design feature of which is the use of a magnetic ring that reliably holds the ball in the saddle. The proposed article gives the calculations of the operating parameters of various sizes of magnetic valves, and also presents the results of the bench and field tests of this solution.
