Abstract

Education economic is one of the dynamically developing and least methodologically established sections of native economic thought. The purpose of this article is to conduct a critical analysis of current mechanisms, problems and trends in the implementation of state information systems (SIS) in national education. The author pays special attention to the role of SIS in the formation and improvement of state educational policy, which is of particular importance in the context of turning of educational sovereignty to the politics. At the same time, the author emphasizes that in the context of the modern information-oriented society, the relevance of state information systems capable of ensuring effective economic management is becoming more and more important. The article offers a detailed analysis of the economic, legal and management frameworks for the functioning of information systems in the education sector on the basis of statutes in place. The concept of a state information system is studied and its main elements and functions are discussed. In addition, the article shows the differences between analog and digital methods of state policy, emphasizing the advantages of the latter. In conclusion basic principles of implementation and operation of state information systems in various economic sectors, including education, are proposed. Guided by these principles, the government will be able to maximize the effectiveness of the use of such systems in state policy, especially in the context of education, ensuring more accurate planning, analysis and decision-making based on relevant data and information.
