Abstract

Objectives Through improved surgical procedures, techniques and urethral stent drainage,to improve the success rate of repair of urinary fistula postneoplasty. Methods Analysis the clinical data of 20 patients postneoplasty which are caused by infection. Small fistula ( diameter less than 3mm) are 17 cases and large fistula ( diameter greater than 3 mm) are 3 cases respectively. Age is from 4 to 42 years, an average of 15 years. 3 casea of fistula in the coronary sulcus, 14 cases of fistula in the penile body and 3 cases of fistula at the junction of penis and scrotum. A improved method was used. Results 19 cases of urina fistula are successfully repaired at the first operation, the repair success rate is 95%. Urine leakage postoperative was only found in 1 case , and the fistula was reduced compared with the former surgery. Followed up for 3 months to 2 years,all patients have normal urina tion , powerful urine and good appearance of penis. Conclusions The improvement about of urinary fistula postneoplasty was simple and effective. Key words: Hypospadias; Urinary Fistula
