Abstract

It is shown that much brighter images are obtained with bleached reflection holograms recorded on separate plates with each of the wavelengths used and put together in register. A further improvement in image luminance is possible if holograms are recorded of a real image of the object projected by an optical system whose effective aperture is limited in the vertical plane by a suitably shaped stop.
