Abstract

Ultrasonic frequency vibration exists widely in production and life. The measurement of its amplitude often requires expensive equipment and strict installation environment. At present, the edge detection has become one of the most active topics in the field of machine vision research. However, the detection accuracy of the traditional edge detection methods can only reach one pixel level at the highest, which can no longer meet the needs of actual measurement. A more accurate edge detection method, namely sub-pixel edge detection method, is adopte. The common Canny operator is improved and the experiment is carried out to achieve higher measurement accuracy.
