Abstract
The development of a new simplified model predictive control algorithm has been proposed in this work. The algorithm is developed in the framework of internal model control and it is easy to understanding and implement. We demonstrate the application of the proposed control algorithm to a linear and a nonlinear process models. Simulation results show that the control algorithm presents a good performance.
