Abstract

Security is the most important factor to be considered when there is communication between the two entities. Cryptographic techniques take data as input and metamorphose it into content which is obscure. Steganographic techniques take data as input and place it in multimedia such as interactive content, animation, text, still images, audio and video footage. Audio Steganography takes text data as input along with an audio file and modifies this audio by embedding the text data. Least Significant Bit (LSB) is taken from byte array of audio and text data represented in binary is placed here. This is vulnerable to attacks and a very strong mechanism is preferred against attacks. Packet Forger generates multiple packets with scrambled and modified encrypted content present in all of these packets. This confuses the attacker and hence provides an additional level of security. Hence, a system which uses security across three layers is proposed.
