Abstract
An improved method is developed for systems with dominant disturbance rejection boundaries which eliminates the need to redefine the plant throughout the design. This has been possible as a result of the development of a MIMO QFt toolbox in Matlab. The Toolbox has been used to solve a variety of problems including the control of lateral stability of the C-135 aircraft. This is used as an example to demonstrate the improved method compared with the more usual approach to MIMO design using QFT.
